Course enrollment
In order to enroll yourself on to a course in one of the above study programs, you are required to go through the registration procedure as devised by the University's course administration system (LPIS). A notable example is the Konversatorium for master and doctoral thesis candidates that you enroll on to by sending an email to the Institutes' office in consultation with your advisor. Course-specific details on enrollment (registration period, further rules of admission, etc.) are to be found at the individual course's Learn@WU area and in the University's courses catalogue.Admission to courses
Students will only get admission to courses in the specialization in Business Administration of Information Systems and in the specialization E-Commerce if they fullfil the requirements according the curriculum. Therefore only students who are registered for the course in the LPIS-system will be approved. No exemptions to this rule will be granted any more.
The previously practiced rule, to exceptionally allow students proving their requirements at the end of the course, is abolished. The reasons for this action are:
- Regularly some students failed to achieve positive completion of the precedent courses in time. Altough previously agreed as not possible, some claims for carrying positive results into the next semester arose. Maintaining a decentral evidence of examinations is not possible and not allowed.
- Some students quit courses after failing in precedent courses. Particularly in courses with intensive group works this leads to heavy problems for their group members as well as problems for grading.
This rule does not apply for incoming students of our partner-universities.
