Welcome to the Website of the Institute for Management Information Systems (MIS, in German: BWL und Wirtschaftsinformatik, Univ. Prof. Dr. Sarah Spiekermann) and the Institute for Information Systems and New Media (NM, in German: Institute für Wirtschaftsinformatik und Neue Medien, Univ. Prof. Dr. Neumann).
We provide IS courses for the Information Systems Bachelor and Master Programs as well as the Business Administration Programs of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration (in German: Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien).
Our Institutes are co-located and share the same infrastructure, office, and opening hours. While the emphasis of the Institute for Management Information Systems is targeted toward Business Applications, the Institute for Information Systems and New Media focuses on the construction and infrastructure of Information Systems.

Letztmögliche Zulassung zum (deutschsprachigen) WInf-Master im WS 2011/12

Nach Auskunft des Vizerektorats für Lehre ist, entgegen unserer bisherigen Annahme, die Zulassung zum aktuellen (deutschsprachigen) Master-Programm aus Wirtschaftsinformatik letztmalig zum WS 2011/12 moeglich. Die Zulassung im SS 2012 ist nicht mehr möglich. Im WS 2012/13 beginnt das neue (englischsprachige) Master-Programm aus Wirtschaftsinformatik. Alle Informationen bzgl. der Bewerbung/Zulassung zum Master-Studium finden Sie jeweils rechtzeitig auf der zugehörigen Web-Seite.
Wir entschuldigen uns diesbezüglich für etwaige Missverständnisse und für versehentlich inkorrekt erteilte Auskünfte.
