Short biography

Christoph Zauner is working with the Department of Information Systems as a research assistant since November 2006. He studied Business and Information Management at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and the Lucerne School of Business.

Before joining the department, Christoph started his career as software engineer and specialized on database developing working for companies in Europe and Asia.

 

Research interests

The research areas of Christoph concentrate on the links between information systems and marketing. He is especially interested in how to use the Internet for marketing purposes and strategic decision  in the area of promotion. Therefore his research activities focus on electronic commerce, especially the b2c sector. Within this wide area Christoph is doing research in the following fields:
