 Short Biography:

Jan has studied at University of Trier (Germany) and UFSIA Antwerpen (Belgium). He received a diploma degree in Business Computer Science (Dipl.-Wirt.-Inf.) and a diploma degree in Business Administration (Dipl.-Kfm.) both from the University of Trier in 2003. Before his graduation he joined Deutsche Bank AG , PricewaterhouseCoopers Luxembourg S.à r.l. , Nederlands-Duitse Kamer van Koophandel , ICTeam GmbH , and OnVista AG for internships and part-time Jobs. From 1998 to 2002 he was board member and chair of Börsen-Initiative Trier 1995 e.V. - a student club dedicated to practical stock exchange eduction. In 2002 he received the Knowledge Master degree from Siemens AG and Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich . In October 2003 he joined the Institute of Information Systems and New Media of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration . In February and April 2006 he joined the BPM group lead by Wil van der Aalst at TU Eindhoven for a research visit to work on the ProM framework . Currently, Jan is working on his PhD-Thesis.
